Sire Lines

The origin of the Kladruber Horse can be traced back to the founding sires of the foundation stocks that gave the name to the simultaneously existing sire foundation stocks (Generale, Generalissimus, Sacramoso, Solo, Favory, Siglavi Pakra, Romke, and Rudolfo). The tables below list the founders of the foundation stocks of the entire breed.

The current population is divided into 5 male founders of classic pure-bred foundation stocks and 3 non-classic pure-bred foundation stocks; of all the stocks above, GENERALE, FAVORY and RUDOLFO are greys, SOLO, SIGLAVI PAKRA and ROMKE are blacks, and GENERALISSIMUS with SACRAMOSO exist in both of the colour variations, i.e. grey and black. The classic pure-bred stock of NAPOLEONE ceased to exist in 1922.
